    Babu Banarasi Das College of Dental Sciences , Babu Banarasi Das University Lucknow signed a MOU with Saveetha Dental College , Saveetha university, Chennai on 5th March,2019.This understanding would enable exchange of clinical , academic and research expertise between the two premier institutes from the north and southern part of India in an effort to provide better education and training to the dental students. This would significantly contribute towards enhancing the oral health care services for the society.

  • 13 Nov, 2018 :Orientation programme was held on Anti Ragging for 1st and 2nd Yr BDS Students on 13th Nov 2018 by Dr. Sudhir Kapoor (Dept of Orthodontics, Sardar Patel of Dental Sciences & Hon'ble DCI Member has kindly consented to hold the programme .


    A lecture on anti ragging was taken by Dr. Sudheer kapoor, member DCI on 13.11.18 in BBDCODS. This lecture was organised for BDS first year and second year students to make them aware of the acts which constitute ragging and how it can impact them.
    The Dean Sir, Dr. Rajkumar and all the respective head of department graced the occasion and gave their valuable inputs.

  • Feb 06, 2018 : CDE Program on Nitrous Oxide-Oxygen Sedation

    Apprehensive patients present a unique challenge to the dentists in providing appropriate dental treatment. Nitrous Oxide-Oxygen Sedation is one of the alternatives which may be helpful for managing such patients.

    A CDE was organized, titled "Nitrous Oxide-Oxygen Sedation", by Department of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry this January which explored this modality in detail. Chief speaker, Dr. Srinivas Namineni, particularly emphasized the safety and reliability of Nitrous Oxide in alleviating the apprehension of the patients thus raising the standard of care for these patients.
