Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologyunder the aegis of Indian Association of Oral &Maxillofacial Pathologist’s ( IAOMP )organized and celebrated National Oral Pathologist’sDay2023,on 24th and 25th Feb’23 in which1styrBDS and 3rd year BDS students, interns, PG studentsand all faculty members ofBBDCODS, Lucknow activelyparticipated.
National Oral Pathologist’s Day is celebrated all over the country by Oral Pathologists to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Dr H M Dholakia-The Father of Oral Pathology in India. Dr Jiji George, Professor & Head, Dept of Oral Pathology, welcomed the Chief Guest, Dr R M Mathur and all HODs, Faculty members and students and gave a brief history of the significance of this day.
On the first day of program (24th Feb’23), there were Rangoli making competition, soap carving competition and mobile photography competition for the students. The Theme for the competitions was “Oral Diseases-Know Your Mouth”
